No. The carbon peel is a comfortable, non-invasive procedure. Most clients feel only a slight warmth and a light tingling as the laser passes over the carbon layer. No anaesthetic is needed and you can return to your normal day immediately afterward.
How many sessions will I need to see a result?
A visible glow, smoother texture and tighter pores appear after the very first session. For lasting improvement of oiliness, pigmentation or acne we usually recommend a course of 4-6 sessions, spaced about 1-2 weeks apart. Your cosmetologist will tailor the exact number to your skin during the free consultation.
Is there any downtime or peeling skin afterward?
